“Cheney: Weapons Report Justifies Iraq War”
Vice President Dick Cheney asserted on Thursday that a report by the chief U.S. weapons inspector in Iraq, who found no evidence that Iraq produced weapons of mass destruction after 1991, justifies rather than undermines President Bush’s decision to go to war.
This from one of the “serious” leaders whom we supposedly need to protect us.
I want to know who’s supplying the drugs to the Bush bAdministration. I need some high powered hallucinogens like the ones Cheney must be taking.
It just occurred to me why Cheney thinks that the fact that the report justified the invasion. The report showed that Saddam’s ability to produce WMDs was waning as the result of inspections and sanctions. Therefore, we had to invade immediately, before his ability to produce WMDs completely disappeared, thus taking away every justifcation to invade.
I only wish I believe I was joking….
