It’s not enough for candidates to give speeches, kiss babies, and buy TV ads to campaign these days. New requisites include appearances on Oprah, The Daily Show, Dr. Phil, and late night comedy shows.
Now, with less than two weeks to go until the election, Senator Kerry has the urge to go hunting.
The things people do to day to get votes. Are there any voters that would really be swayed by a candidate taking a hunting trip?
You would be surprised… Ted Nugent votes according to how many kills a candidate has. He’s voting for Bush this year because Bush has now killed over 1,100 American HUMANS, and what has Kerry killed, what a 9 point buck? BFD!!! (I actually have no idea what Kerry was hunting or what he has killed, I just made that up….)
Update: My veil of ignorance has been lifted! Kerry shot and killed a goose.
It was quite a shame though, as he missed a perfectly good opportunity to invite a Supreme Court Justice along and hopefully “grease the wheels” for any possible supreme court challenge of the election results…
And guess what? Cheney had the cahonies to actually ridicule Kerry about HIS bird hunting follies……
So what is the NRA’s new take on defeating Kerry going to be? Maybe Kerry does not support hunting rabbits with fully automatic Uzis?
