Compare and contrast:
Reuters article: “Reuters Poll: Bush Grabs One-Point Lead on Kerry”
Poll findings:
Bush 46
Kerry 45
AP article at Yahoo: “AP Poll: Bush, Kerry in Dead Heat”
Poll findings (buried in third paragraph):
Kerry 49
Bush 46
That liberal media.
I think it has been established long ago that when when conservative pols (who should know better) and conservative lackeys (who don’t think for themselves, in favor of having Rush, Hannity, O’Reilly etc. think for them) talk about “liberal bias” or the “liberal media” what they really mean is that:
A) Any media is liberal that doesn’t in a kneejerk fashion condemn democrats, true liberals or progressives straight to hell
B) Any media that even suggests that liberals (see above) may have a solution or even an opinion
C) Any media that has at some point thought a conservative idea was a bad idea.
D) Any media that acknowledges that there even exists an entity such as a “liberal.”
Conservatives claim these examples you posted are “liberal” because the AP had the audacity to suggest that Bush is not crushing Kerry in the polls, and Reuters had the audacity to mention that there was even an opponent running against Bush.
And, that, as they say, is the naked truth.
And Fox New’s poll results would be as follows.
Bush Sweeps Poll
