It was funny reading Drudge as he tried to fan the flames of this rumor. Of course he couldn’t cite himself as the sole source of this ridiculous story, so it was like a bunch of twittering before someone could quote someone who thought there might be a rumor!
Needless to say, tomorrow, the airwaves will be full of talk radio hosts correcting their errors and clearing Ms. Polier–or perhaps the courtrooms will be full of trial lawyers filing charges of slander.
