Especially if you&#8217;re a media outlet and the secret relates to a trendy news story.  So it should have come as a surprise to no one that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.globemagazine.com\/\"><i>Globe<\/i><\/a> has published the name and picture of Kobe Bryant&#8217;s accuser.  I had actually expected it to come out sooner.<br \/>\nThe <i>Globe<\/i> staff went the extra mile in <a href=\"http:\/\/story.news.yahoo.com\/news?tmpl=story&#038;cid=514&#038;e=9&#038;u=\/ap\/20031101\/ap_on_sp_ba_ne\/bkn_bryant_case_1\">justifying their publication<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> Globe editors Jim Lynch and Candace Trunzo defended their decision, saying, &#8220;It was appropriate to give our readers the whole story.&#8221; They declined to comment further.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course.  Without that picture, checkout-line jurors across America would have been unable to cast their deciding vote in this momentous trial.  But now, thanks to <i>Globe<\/i>, we can rule on Kobe&#8217;s guilt.
