Fortunately, we have the all-knowing one available to peer into my subconscious and <a title=\"Limbaugh: \"The left is scared to death of God\"\" href=\"http:\/\/mediamatters.org\/items\/200410190006\">reveal the reason why<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>LIMBAUGH: The left is scared to death of God. They think Bush is a believer, and they got quotes from people that say Bush doesn&#8217;t think, he just follows his instincts based on how he feels after he prays. He&#8217;s just &#8212; &#8220;this is horrible.&#8221; They&#8217;re out there and they&#8217;re scared to death because they don&#8217;t understand God. They don&#8217;t understand a personal relationship with God. They can only think it&#8217;s trouble.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is yet another effort by those on the right to attempt to portray this election as a referendum on God.  Whether it be through subtle hints (&#8220;George Bush is a good, <i>Christian<\/i> man&#8221;), or ridiculous claims (&#8220;liberals want to ban the Bible&#8221;), many have been trying to cast this as a race between the good and the heathen.
