General Clark is currently giving the final speech of his campaign. Clark is a bright, articulate leader who has made an invaluable contribution to his country during his distinguished career. Although he wasn’t my top presidential candidate, I am disappointed that he didn’t get a better chance to share his message with the voters, a fairer shake from the media. Clark got out to a very late start in this campaign. And unfortunately for him, a presidential primary is a tough place to wet your feet in the political waters.
I hope General Clark remains engaged in public policy and helps the Democratic party regain the White House this November.
Puh-leeze… fairer shake from the media? Evidence? This guy chose not to run in Iowa despite the media fawning all over him the day he announced he was running. Then Clark ran one of the worst campaigns I’ve ever seen in which he couldn’t convince anyone how he felt about issues as clear as Iraq and abortion.
This guy screwed it all up by himself… liberals love blaming the media despite the love affair they enjoy.
That wasn’t worded very well. I’m not necessarily saying that the coverage of Clark was unfairly biased. There just wasn’t enough of it. Since Kerry won New Hampshire, the only way any of the other candidates can get any media attention at all is by firing off Deanesque-type rants.
